Rain Man

Rain Man

A Poem by Katie Lynn
"

<3

"

I love the gentle, soothing rain,

That washes out each tear,

They hide, they vanish, wiped away,

They all just disappear.

His strong and tender, stormy hands,

So softly brush my face,

And clear the salty wetness that,

My reddened cheeks do grace.

I close my eyes with silent wish,

This rain to never cease,

The calming storm that quells my fear,

Ends sorrow, fills with peace.

I feel the cold draining away,

I take his hands of rain,

I hold them to my heart and think,

...Cant' wait to cry again.

This poem is very beautiful! One small fix though, third word on the first line I'm assuming is supposed to be read as "The", but is missing the "e". Just thought you should know!. :)
