Tangible

Tangible

A Poem by Seriana

Tangible

My eyes always feel slightly stained with tears.

When I close them tight,

I can feel you standing there,

close, in that dark space,

beside me where once you were.

I can feel your breath on my neck,

your hands spiraled around my hair,

pulling gently, tight.

I feel you….the taste of you forever on my lips.

The startled, unexpected moments when we meet, again.

I can feel you,

there.

I can feel your energy, coursing enduringly through me,

Still.

I can feel the river of emotions raging below,

in me,

in that sphere where you’ve hidden yourself from my view.

How can this sensory invasion be real?

I have yet to feel it again,

that harmonious hum of your sigh vibrating against my skin,

the stabbing phenomenon of your gaze,

Every. Time. You. Smile at me.

Still……..

A very beautiful romantic poetry that's written with some gentle & sensual touches of words for good. For a while, I thought... am reading a book written across romantic genre that has various way to stir love-bites with sensuality. Nice work. Enjoyed it!

What a beautiful piece describing the feelings of love. I could almost touch the words in a very tangible way just like the title states. But even tho the feeling is mostly love in this poem I can also feel a very sad under current through out the poem as which does mimic real life. Where the is love there is also some sadness. Well written and I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for giving me the change to read it.

You describe energy here. The kind that shoots through you like electricity suddenly turned on. I think we all get this when in the presence of a good conductor.

Here are the intimate echoes of loving... those beautiful sighs still caressing you within that place you hide from all others. And how a simple smile becomes like a sunrise over your skin... awakening you even over the expanse of time... How your words are both wondrous and painful at the same time...

Quite a telling piece of writing, Seriana. You expel your passionate feelings of a lover now gone I believe. If I am correct there are many who will, and can, relate. I am one of those.

Yes, the pain will dimish over time. You will find another. You will flourish in his arms.
