Since Then to Here

Since Then to Here

A Poem by Siddartha Beth Pierce

The first time I did see your face

the first time we spoke

it came to be quite a disagree

despite my mighty pose.

Yet these days mean alot

then nothing in compare

to those that came about

since then to here.

We are interlaced

you and I as One

and I shall not forget the

smiles upon your face

the light within your eyes

despite and foulness that

passes us

we shall overcome.

I love you with all my heart

my soul

my body

my mind

all I want forevermore

is that you shall be mine.

The heightening of emotion from a good old row can be a great prelude to wild love-making...!

Ah.. you write in far more tender and romantic feminine ways than this rough reviewer could dream of...

A delightful celebration of how we want it to be...

Love isn't all mushy-gushy, and I love how you express both sides in this poem. When there is real love, there is bound to be an element of disagreement, and this shows how love can overcome... anything. Beautiful and real.

Breathtaking in the language, amazing in the emotions it conjurs. I love this and am humbled by how it reduced me to tears. In a word, amazing.

So many times loves comes from the most unlikely of places... funny how we can feel distain for someone that turns in to adoration.
