Gunhearts

Gunhearts

A Poem by Andromeda
"

experimenting

"

We were playing God

The sundanced upon

The metal

Of the rifles

Held ready in our hands

The wind whistled

Alarm

Alarm

Alarm

As we slunkalong—

We were playing God

The man was waiting

In the

Shallows unsuspecting

We—

With Vampiregrins

And

Machine Gunhearts—

We were playing God.

I like that the wind whispered "alarm alarm alarm". It's a neat picture.
