The Massacre

The Massacre

A Poem by Stacy
"

A greeting card holiday with a past

"

This day is one of many memories,

The line up of men and shooting of dreams

As they all stood there with their guns in their hands,

Other's fired the shots that left them for dead

For the gangsters that fell, it was a tragedy,

For the men that shot them down, a day of pleasure

You can thank Capone for this day that flows red,

Happy Saint Valentine's Day Massacre to all and remember the dead.
