Smoky Climax

Smoky Climax

A Poem by Sumary Prom
"

Styled after an English sonnet. Consists of romance, erotica, cigarettes, and breathing.

"
A long cigarette hangs from his pursed lips;
Ivory staff, a kindling smoke-fueled lust,
That haunts and utters hot, silvery wisps
Till he withholds a breath, teasing her trust.
A girl collapses in love, heart in flames;
He abstains his release, stiff ash lingers;
Lungs yearn, tongues ache, and he foolishly aims,
Cinders crash and decorate his fingers.
A voracious gasp yet takes its design;
Her desperate eyes gaze, and his warm chest swells,
Then his vision narrows -- their sights align,
Enter heaven together, chiming bells.
A sultry delivery, he sends her;
Trapped in ghostly clouds is what she prefer.
