On Bended Knee

An attempt to reflect one of the best days ever...a million sad, tragic, depressed "poems", but no one sees the good days from me.

The smell and sounds of oceans and waves
As I finally am here, this day of days
The sun decended, we sit on the deck
As I nervously reach in my pocket to check

This teddybear bends down on one knee
Shaking in his voice, he's quivering
He lifts up the symbol of love eternally
And asks the question, so nervously

She smiles and says yes, without hesitating
And his heart, pulsing and racing, evolved love creating
A man she has made, and for her a man I will be
Protecting, and providing, and loyalty and love, and honesty

That night, that yes, that smile said it all
I was a believer, in this woman, my beautiful baby doll
Heaven on earth, beside my goddess so real
My life had meaning, my heart she did steal
