How I Love You

How I Love You

A Poem by TheDragonsCat

Have I told you that I love you?
Can I even count the ways?
Your height, your strength, your eye's so blue,
Every strained glance at you pays.

It's not just skin deep you know,
I couldn't be so shallow,
I love all the thing's you say, nearly everything you do.
I love it when we'd go for walks,
even in bigger groups then two.

I love the way you play piano,
all the right words you seem to find.
how you look at me and seem to know.
something's going on inside.

Speaking of, I never told you,
or congratulated you.
The first one ever to look inside
not the latest to run and hide.

I'm comfortable around you,
and I can't even begin to say,
how pleased I am to see you,
or how you an brighten up my day.

The way you get a job done,
the way you roll your eyes,
how you joke and have fun,
give me the truth instead of lies.

I haven't come up with a good ending yet, but I really like the rest of it :)
