Falling

Falling

A Poem by Lydia

I'm about to fall

Calling out your name

I thought I'd seen it all

I thought that's why you came

I trusted you with my life

You can't possibly betray me now

Through all the sorrow and the strife

I really don't understand how

That this could actually be the end

It really does baffle me

Is it the message I'm trying to send

That's keeping you from being able to see

I'm falling farther now

I'm almost out of sight

You can't help me now

The darkness is drowning out the light.

I love it. The wording was perfect and the way it speeds up at the end just makes the whole thing perfect. I don't know if you meant to add that rhythm because I know I do it on accident but great job.
