Fading Away

Fading Away

A Poem by Edward

He's fading away,
Some days he can't see the light of day.

The one who was there before,
Has gone through the door.

She's hoisted her sails and the wind has caught them,
Now all he has is these memory's and this favourite gem.

It's like he matters but then isn't and is replaced by another,
Why can't it just be him.. Why does it need to be another?

Can you see him?
Or does he have to flee?

She promised him that it wouldn't come to this,
That they wouldn't drift away and move on.

Will he be happy?
Or will he remain unhappy?

Please, he wants to love and he wants to have hope,
But all hope is bleeding out and it's really hard for him to cope.

Please save him,
This is his only plea,
If you can't save him just set him free.
