Sad Girl

Sad Girl

A Poem by T.S. Sky
"

I was thinking of the Slyvia Plath movie.

"

Sad Girl
Why do you cry?

Who broke your soul?
Who took your happiness?
Who spit on your peace?

Sad Girl
Why do you cry?

Am I the reason?
Is he?
Is she?
Is they?

How deep is your song?
The wails are long in the night
You hurt so bitterly
Rivers spring from your eyes

Sad Girl
Why do you cry?

Why do you sing songs so sweetly
So longingly melancholy

The light dims as you walk by
It flickers slightly
No one notices
You notice
I see you looking at me
With piercing brown eyes
You see
I notice too

I like the looming melancholy, the subtle-ness of a broken being.

I see you looking at me
With piercing brown eyes
You see
I notice too.

Definitely the best lines.

Indeed it is true.
Sadness have a way of changing our faces till we see only gloom, may you see light along the dark side as well;-] nice emotions.
