Lost love

Lately it feels
like I'm falling apart
and nobody else really cares

all I have loved
I have loved from the start
when nobody else really cared

All I have loved
I have loved all alone
somebody else loves you now

Sitting awake
feeling hard like a stone
I'm trying to shut you out

I got knots in my hair
a film on my teeth
and nobody else really cares

I smell like hell
I got filth on my feet
and nobody else really cares

I talk to myself
cause you don't talk to me
I try to imagine your there

Like god dropped a blessing
on the cold concrete
It rolled through the cracks in the stairs

I got this bottle of whiskey
that's slowly been killing me
still nobody else really cares

About a dozen hillbillies
would gladly buy it for me
As long as I pretend that I care

None of them are you
and it makes me feel a fool
I'll probably die here in this honkytonk town

But if the booze it treats me right
I'll sleep with one of you tonight
somebody please deliver me another round.
