dawn

A Poem by Danielle Asher
"

a piece I wrote for a friend but it goes out to so many people I know

"

16

Pain is forced on a chained soul

Raped of youth and affection

Why we long?

Expression through eyes and sex

and the food tastes so good.

Paint a picture of freedom on a blank canvas

Without words that burn through

Anything

Dance the song that is sung in a spinning mind

and the movement,

the movement that completes

Anything

Reach out and offer all to one and the same

love and laughter

shared or attempted

greater than friendship

Aura

"Ophelia, how I long for you not to feel the same."

Acceptance

It is too much and never enough.

This is really good. In my opinion it decrides peer pressure greatly. Although it could be talking of other things. Great Job.
