Kintsukuroi

Hearts are frail

and fragile things

yet still so strong

to mend and heal

whilst visibly broken

Let our love fill in the cracks

like kintsukuroi and together

rebirth into golden night

Met me here

at the edge

of everything

And together

we shall be poetry

Cause you see

pain is art and

Your hand fits

incomparably

into mine

We are

pen and

paper

And

Your lips

equal mine

And with kisses

shared we entrust

our souls to

one another

You see  

You and I

are puzzle

pieces

Because

Because our

broken hearts

fit perfectly

together

As you unravel

I decipher

A simple way

to show that fate

has befallen to us all

And you my love

are my most painfully

beautiful eternity

And

I love you

like the heart

loves the soul

And this 

This you were

born to know

my love

for you

Because the golden stitches

I've so carefully poured

to mend our brokenness

has turned us into one

and never the two

to be separate again
