Help Will Come

Help Will Come

A Poem by Time's The Bond

Written 2-15-12

By: Emily L. Lui

You sat on the sidewalk

Your face so lifeless

Parents in the back fighting

You’re dying inside but you hide

No trace of hope

Wishing to see the light

You’re sick of life

You take out that knife

You debate

Will help ever arrive

You thrive

Your insides shiver

Like a rushed river

Your heart beats

Can’t defeat

Will help ever come

Will your life

Ever be a life

I can assure you

I’ll be there

I’ll save you

I’ll get you out of the grave

Come now

Now you know

What the flow feels like

Bestowed upon you

Is the glow of life

Don’t hide shed the tears

Share the fear

I promise you

It’ll be alright

Help will always come

I go back where I came from

Be strong

Fight through

You’ll be wrong my child

But smile

You do belong

I won’t lie

But I’ll be here

I float away

I hear you

Goodbye Michael my angel”

I’ll fight

Now that I know

What life is
