I wrote a poem for Matthew on his 1st birthday, but I never wrote one specifically for Jonny. So, I sat down and wrote something for all my kids, present and future.

Look in here when you don't know

what to do or where to go

I'll be here to tuck you in

I'll be there to make you grin

Let me hear all your problems; tell me all your thoughts

I'll be listening even when you think I'm not

If you fall ill or get hurt, I'll make it better

I'm in this for the long haul, even the stormy weather

 

You can cry on my shoulder or yell all you like

But you'll never be less than perfect in my eyes

You drive me crazy but you keep me sane

You're my family and that will never change

You're in my heart and on my mind

and you'll see in good time

 

I'll never leave you or turn you away

You are my children  Forever and Always.
