October woods

October woods

A Poem by Andy Batts
"

I wrote this about six years ago about a friend of mine when I moving to a different state

"

We sit in the October woods silent and peaceful

gazing at the twinkling stars

a cool breeze whispers across our skin

leaves in the air

dance to the ground

clear blue eyes smile with laughter

we twirl in the darkness

with the moon as our spotlight

the rustling golden leaves as our music

this is a magical night

an unforgettable night

the last night we will ever share

Your setting sounds like one you'll remember for years to come. The simple things can be just as memorable as the big bashes.
