Tribute to the #1 star

Tribute to the #1 star

A Poem by WriterGirl101

I know I'm a few days late, but I decided to write a tribute to one of my favorite artist. I didn't know him while he was alive, and it's sad, and I wish I did, but even so, he's my favorite..... So here's a tribute for him......................

You started from the bottom,
and rose to the top,
You were considered a king,
 and that you were.
There were many sad rumors,
but I don't believe any of them.
You had a troubled life,
so I understand the things you did.
You were a child at heart, and you loved children,
I understand.
Though I didn't know you while you were living,
You're still my hero.
You tried to change the world,
when no one else did.
While you didn't think so yourself,
You were a wonderful person.
You were beautiful,
but hate had to put you down.
But it didn't matter.
While it did make you choose bad decisions,
It didn't make you a bad person...
I love you, M.J
And hope you are still looking down on your fans from Heaven.

This is a very touching tribute to the king of pop. it really is. It's very well written, filled with plenty of emotion, and I love the format you used to present the piece. I think that M.J would be smiling right now if he could read this. Fantastic :)
