What you have done to me

What you have done to me

A Poem by Yuzuki Cross
"

Sort of sequel to What you do to me, only in new light, and new love.

"

Don’t you know what you do to me?

You and I stand ground

Hands held tightly

Together

You alone have done

Such an amazing miracle to me

I believe it’s that fear I have overcome

The fear of loneliness

Though day by day

You’ve stuck closely by my side

Even if my own hands pushed you away

You refuse to lose your grip

I swear, you’re just as stubborn as I

Can’t you see I’m not worth your trouble?!

But you see more than meets the eye

I cannot argue when you smile

I want to hold you forever

Away from the world that has tormented me

My hands will not tremble, not ever!

This I swear to you

And you alone!

I jump in head first

I will not fret over yesterday

Nor will I fear the worst

For that is what held me back

I know you may not be able to understand

But to simplify what I have said

Let me hold your hand

And speak softly into your ear

I love you, Nathan Lee Scroggins!
