Rainy Beach

Rainy Beach

A Poem by Zall
"

Alone on a rainy beach. What will happen?

"

Rainy Beach
Alone on a rainy beach,
The wet sand between your toes,
Cold water lapping against your ankles,
Your head held high,
The sirens blare in the distance,
Heading toward the rainy beach,
The wet sand between your toes,
Cold water lapping against your thighs,
Your head held high,
Red and blue flashing lights coming closer,
Heading toward the rainy beach,
The wet sand between your toes,
Cold water lapping against your stomach,
Your head held high,
Rubber burning and frantic cries,
At the rainy beach,
The wet sand between your toes,
Cold water lapping against your face,
Your head held high.
