Without Cause

Without Cause

A Poem by Aekmy

 < Panic stricken >

as the need to purge overwhelms my thoughts.

Mind locked in a white room, empty except for the ticking of time

something man cannot control.

Lives were taken and given by the wrath of the wild.

Lips

turned

down

in a frown, seeing the world one calorie at a time,

one meal, one glance.

A s t r e t c h, but not the fall.

COULD you fall so far from grace that you never stop falling?

Fingers grasping for something but never touching anyone.

You’re always grabbing, hoping for the impossible, so you always exist in the white room; a cage around your sick little mind.

Tears will consume the pores of your pale face.

Like a lone wolf’s cry, you are hardly heard in the distance and

ignored.

There is beauty is uniqueness. Embrace the strange or perish in the ordinary.
