My Neon-green Pine Tree

A poem about a special person, whom I love :-)

My Neon-green Pine Tree.

 

The first time I saw you,

Was a December night.

You were standing in the cold,

Not able to fight.

 

The first thing I noticed,

Your colors so unnaturally bright.

While the others so dark,

They looked so boringly right.

 

I left you alone,

Too scared to stand out,

For that I am so sorry,

But the tale gets better in a bout.

 

Four moons later I came back.

You were still standing,

Looking so calm,

While others would have been panting.

 

I took you home,

Made it comfortable for you,

I was going to make you happy,

Because you deserve that, too!

 

If anyone should wonder who you are,

They can just ask me,

You are completely special,

My neon-green pine tree!
