Stop Child Abuse

Stop Child Abuse

A Poem by Jamie-Lynn
"

Children have done nothing to deserve abuse/

"

My name is Tommy, I am just five.
Mommy drinks, while I try to stay alive.
Mommy ignores me, she doesn't care.
She'll end up killing me, it isn't fair.

My name is Emily, I am just four.
Daddy blames me on Mommy, calls her a w***e.
He says I'm a burden and will always hate me.
And someday soon, Daddy will rape me.

My name is Justin, I am just seven.
I once had a brother who'd today be eleven.
Daddy was drunk, and mommy was high.
So Mommy ended up making him die.

My name is Alyssa, I am just three.
Mommy was gone and Daddy beat me.
'It's your fault she's gone" is what he once said.
And because of him, I am now dead.

My name is Eric, I am just ten.
Mommy decided to hit me again.
I get neglected and treated like dirt.
And no one cares how much i hurt.

My name is Jamie-Lynn, I am just fourteen.
I have good life, my parents arn't mean.
But why does it happen, what's the use?
Please, help stop child abuse.
