Shadow

We are not alone.

They say
We are born as individuals

They pray

For He of a billion peoples

They slay

A billion in the name of the Lord

They obey

But all fell too short

I say

We are born with a shadow

I pray

For the light to make us know

I slay

A billion on the wall portrayed

I obey

To the darkness of my fate
