Finally I can rhyme

Finally I can rhyme

A Poem by Latifa
"

with GOD's guidance and blessings I am better now.

"

I glide from the rainbows of the heavenly skies

 with my heart's strings

rhyming with the flute of serenity

I am joyful

I am greatful

finally I can rhyme

with the flute of serenity

the shadows stripped

 to show me insight

the winds sung me a lullaby

to guide me to the light

my castles are in the air

standing on the pillars of survival

on the pillars of love

and so I glide from the rainbows of the heavenly skies

 with my heart's strings

rhyming with the flute of serenity

I love how you manimpulate words. You must be dangerous with men. But you capture me with these lines and themes and the way you harmonize them all into something of beauty. This certainly was no exception and I read it twice.

Latifa, you are dangeorusly inventive with a marvelous imagination. You would be a greaat poet in the age when poetry still mattered and the public had enough culture to appreciate it. There is something not only classical about your writing, but about you as well. It all becomes so obvious in your word selecton and combinations. I enjoyed this one very mcuh but then I enjoy all you do.

Flute of serenity is worth the price of admission. I envy those who can rhyme. Very good.

I thought you would be rhyming in this but nevertheless I loved it.

'greatful' should be 'grateful'

Beautiful imagery, and I love the idea of the 'flute of serenity.'

Thought this one was going to actually be about rhyming, pleasantly surprised, rhyming with serenity, it doesn't get better than that, sweet read.

I am 'grateful'
