So You Say You Loved Me (Such Deceiving Words)

So You Say You Loved Me (Such Deceiving Words)

A Poem by Joe

I love you
She said that as we embraced
Quickly my heart began to race
I said I love you and looked at her beautiful face

The next few days the feeling went away
I just didn't feel the same
We acted on impulse
Such a silly game

We had no clue what we were doing
The only thing I felt was the faith I was losing
So you say you loved me
Such deceiving words
So you say you loved me
I could not believe what I heard

Acting on impulse we were bound to crash
Acting on impulse it just wouldn't last

I wish you the best...because I could not give you the amount of appreciation you truly deserved...
