Things Never Said

Words I can’t deny.

Are what I try to hide inside.

Things I don’t want to say.

Am I going to be okay?

They say to let them out.

Even the ones I’m worried about.

But it seems impossible.

Cry…

Cry until I die.

The thing most soothing to me.

Will they ever see?

Cannot be controlled by them.

I try so hard to stop

But this feeling just won’t drop

My heart aches to no end.

Putting me at a most painful bend.

Things I try to say

Never get their time of day.

So why try anyway.

Just to hear them say.

Okay.
