Loving You

Loving You

A Poem by Selah

What is it like, loving you?

Drunk.
Intoxicated.
I'm drowning
in my own glass.
Swimming
through champagne bubbles
 formed by your lips.

How does it feel, loving you?

Painful.
Wonderful.
It burns my throat,
but leaves me begging for more.
You are slowly killing me
And I like it.

Why do I keep loving you?

Addiction.
Obsession.
You are like whiskey
and I'm an alcoholic.
I'm enslaved by your taste,
just a sip will send me
off the edge.

I just want to be drunk
forever.
