Places Changed

A Poem by George Love
"

Changing Places with another writer, or someone who does not write. Where do we get this stuff?

"

Places Changed

Would that you were in my place
That you could feel the pains I feel
And hear the voices within my head
Would I could with you this share
And watch the wonder in your eyes
When ideas flow from mind to pen
Could that moment be kept in time
Now for all to feel this rush
When ideas come from deep within
And watch ideas flow onto this canvas
As once again words come forth
Watching words paint for the mind to see.
What course will the next work take?
Will it reflect or will it reveal?
Or just some fair musings make?
Or maybe would that I were in your place
To read those words and wonder
How it would be to pen such thoughts.

I believe your poem to be lovely and an accurate tale of writing and those who sit outside of it and wonder where these words form from. I find the short length a pleasing format for such a work and thank you for sharing in with all of us. :)
