Grasp of infinity

Grasp of infinity

A Poem by AlanaLJay

Blended into infinity are hands of those that experiment with lustful movements

Immaculate presence of beauty captures my soul

Blue pools of imprisonment have me chained to you

Keys of freedom I once held I gave willingly to the darkness of this lust

My infatuation is no secret to you even though the rest of this place does not see it

The pain of a thumping heart plays the rhythm to which I walk

Slowly

Following your slightest movement

You know I’m here but you never turn around

The satisfaction of my imprisonment reluctantly shows itself through that smile

The amazing smile of temptation

Temptation and blue pools deliver messages of urgency

So close I come to that grasp of infinity

Turning around you hold out your hand willing me to take it

But without success

You keep me chained

Holding out your hand for me to take yet

 Always staying beyond infinity's grasp
