"Girl"

"Girl"

A Poem by Kitten

The term never fit right.
The pretty dresses, long hair, and fake smiles.
The makeup, bras, and scars.
All of it.
Was never who I really am.
I think I've found who I am.
Ethan Walker James.
That name fits me.
It makes me happy when they say.
"What are talking about? You are man."
Or
"What b***s? All I see are pecs."
I couldn't ask for anything more.
Expect for maybe the body I should have been born into...

Thanks so much for sharing this. It really makes a point that I feel strongly about. We live in a world where it's practically a crime to be yourself. In other societies (like Japan) gender is not important at all. I think that's the way it should be. Gay, straight, bi....they are all labels. It's what you believe in and what you do that matters. It's about WHO you are, not WHAT you are. (We are all PEOPLE.....)
