My Grain Of Thought

My Grain Of Thought

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

A grain of sand, a grain of wheat,

Two separate entities

One a part of mother earth

And one born of her.

If you find one

More important than the other

Then you have missed the point

Of God’s plan.

If you don’t believe in miracles

Take a walk on the grass

And watch it stand back up.

When you feel like you’re

Losing your faith

Just look into the sky

And watch a bird

With its wings spread

To soar up high.

When you can’t find hope

In humanity

Become the hope for someone

Worse off than you

And you will find what

You are looking for.

It all sounds so simple

And yet so hard for us to do.

The complications of life

Derive from the human psyche.

Your kind words are much appreciated.
This piece appear with so deep message for me. I like the way you choose to start and how you end with the clear conclusion for the faith. I love the allegories you use to paint the world of Hope we should live in...And its so true. All is born from the earth, which makes my mind connect this separate grains and entities with "human nature". we are all so different, yet so similar, as we come from the same root the earth and God. And all is so simple, if we realize our purpose here, just our mind makes it complicated. Very meaningful, dear poet!

Thank you so much, you are so very kind my friend.
More important than the other
Then you have missed the point
Of God’s plan.
This writing originated from an astute thinker, giving equal importance to each living and non living things is hard for an average mind, but that is the fact all meant to fall in to the loop of God's plan, humans are advancing in every field but walking backwards in core thinking which may ultimately break the equilibrium, and it will be also included in the same loop, really impressed

Thank you so kindly Rita :))
Your mind works in a all too different way Dale. Means i am really amazed you have this many tonne of thoughts. Basically you went to the depth of a small grain.from there you toured to sky and then this hopeless humanity. I am just awestruck by this. I read it out to my sister too. And she loved it :)

Why thank you so very much.
A wonderful poem of resilience. I thought the stanza about the grass spoke to this so well:

If you don’t believe in miracles
Take a walk of the grass
And watch it stand back up.

You give credence to the saying that hope springs eternal.

Oh thank you so very kindly… glad you liked the poem and appreciated the message.
I like this very much. Nature shows us that there is always hope. No blade of grass withers without leaving its own legacy.

I like the way you think, thanks Marie.
there are those better off and worse off, but we are all part of God's plan in one way or another...and one human is not better than another...we all have reasons for our existence...and we need to remember that before we judge ourselves better than anyone else.

nicely expressed.
