Colliding Constellations

Colliding Constellations

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)

Star crossed are the constellations

That connects the thoughts in my mind

So they can be named and identified.

North, South, East or West

Now have no rhyme

That gives meaning to my reasons.

The lunar lights can only highlight

What I shall face off the beaten path,

But that is how my eyesight stays sharp

As my instincts walk the razor’s edge.

I will always need to cut to the chase

By running toward what the devil cannot contain,

All I ask is to hold open heaven’s gate

Till the sunrise touches my angel wings.

The lines above stick out to me. Love the ending as well. Your title inspires me to write. Thanks for sharing.
