A Domestic DisturbanceA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)A
rise in the temperature Does
not expand the land But
it does assure us That
we are full of hot air… We
do not rise like a balloon, Rather
sink behind Things
we forgot existed Until
relief was needed. Core
values don’t revolve around us Because
the layers we possess Keeps
them hidden deep, Far
deeper than we will ever be buried When
life runs out on us, Running
like the wind fanning flames That allows the fire to spread, Making
it hotter than The
Mother, Father and Son intended. © 2017 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Reviews
