If I Get My Demons DrunkA Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)Repeating
sins of the past is like One more
drink at last call After
crawling out of the bathroom stall And no
one to drive you home. But
there can be an unexplainable comfort In
relieving the mistakes of the past With
vision that is blurry enough To give
the truth a second look. So I
will raise a glass And make
a toast to Those
moments of weakness That has
the strength of 100 proof, For if I
can get my demons drunk My soul
will forever remain A
hangover the underworld Would
soon forget. © 2017 The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE) |
