All Over My Heart

All Over My Heart

A Poem by The Rock And Roll Cowboy(REBEL WITH A CAUSE)
"

The power of love... I believe

"

Sun glistened lips

Leave a pink impression

Upon this soul of mine

That is reflected

In the glow of my smile.

Sweet dreamy eyes

Lifts my spirit to the clouds

Putting the moon in reach

And it shines

Through the color of my eyes.

Sensually dangerous curves

Is the road to my heaven

Whenever I touch your satin skin,

It is highlighted

By the roses in my cheeks.

My love for you

Is written all over my face.

Though not carved in stone

It is firmly tattooed

All over my heart.

Wow.. sounds like a bit of lovelust creeping in.. touching your soul.. sweet passion that lifts you and this can clearly be seen in the eyes and face of a person taken! It is usually the beginning moments of love that we feel this way.. the butterflies.. the fantasies and possibilities that flow through us.. and others do see! They can not see your heart tatooed.. however you sure can feel it! Love the wording to this as it is a modern writing of love.. that everyone can understand.. this freestyle flow is raw and very passionate.. thank you so much for sharing! =)

I've lost my writing ability, but at least I know that someone like you has picked it up! This is wonderful, Dale.

"My love for you
Is written all over my face.
Though not carved in stone
It is firmly tattooed
All over my heart."

Imagery is spectacular. I love reading something so vivid that I can picture! : )

This is beautiful ... romantic without being gushy ... all shaded by the subtle use of colors ... pink ... rose ... the red heart ... when love reaches a spiritual plane ... this is it ...

Amazing how love can cast a shadow for you to always remember. You wrote this well, so the reader could understand the meaning. Passionate, and well written, I'd put a ten on this gem. ks

This is stunning Dale with beautiful imagery, I know everyone says that, but I truly mean it. You use colour so real to the readers imagination and I hope this is real for you my friend.
There is no interruption to the flow...even with stanza breaks. You should be very proud of your efforts.
You were right in believing that this is the power of love...and more.

This is really good. I think one of your best love poems, in fact. I really liked the stanza that began "Sensually dangerous curves, Is the road to my heaven". Really pretty imagery. Nice job.
