Recruitment on the WC

Why me lord

Am I the only writer being bombarded with recruitment ads from the United States Marine Corps on this site? What kills me is I took the Marine fit test that keeps flashing on top of the screen with the score I had when I graduated basic training and the test say's I "need room for improvement." Really?!?! Need for Improvement!!?!? Jesus Christ on a pogo stick I did my time. Stop bugging me to come back already. I know by USMC standards I'm an old geezer now so stop with the recruitment drive. I'm not going back. I'm old, slow and can think for myself now. All I'd be is a target.

Yeah, I just usually ignore the ads. I get them on other sides, but I already know that I would be deferred from the military even if I tried to sign up! It is kind of funny though - who knows how they picked you out?

I got a letter three years ago. A free Army Hat if called them. I did very well till they asked my birth date. I didn't get the hate either. Rejected me for my old age. I like your thoughts. A lot of ads taking over the W.C. Thank you for the excellent poetry and thoughts.
