I sit on a male can.

When
I
pee

I stand up prominently.

I
like
women

I wink at them a lot.

I
pick up
heavy
things

When I feel like it.

I
like
my
car

unless it breaks down.

then
my
wife
fixes it

but I'm still a man

no matter
what
she
says.

Very witty and funny! The title puts me in mind of the song I'm a Man, by Chicago.

I love the simplicity of this poem. And how you incorporate humour and rhyme. And then the rhyme is lost when the insecurities about manhood creep in. And the simplicity of language adds to the feel of innocence. As if the writer doesnt really feel a man, but more a boy pretending to be a man.
