A Single Phone Call

A Single Phone Call

A Poem by Therene

Pick up the phone

Let’s talk

Catch up on our lives

Who knows

Yes, only we can tell

What we have

What we will be

All we need is to talk

We’ve been very busy

Yet it’s still there

The joviality of us

It lingers

I’ve been stupid

Let’s talk

Hope it’s not too late

Who knows

…what happens after a single phone call.

Ionnu. Stress release maybe?

It spells major crapology all over. Tear it apart!

I could tell there were feelings and emotions hiding behind the words..
and that they were begging to be heard, and voiced, fear, anger, release, they were all there. Maybe a little edit eheh.. ^-^
I love your work though

Maybe I listen to too much music cause all I had in my head was "Telephone" by Lady Gaga playing in my brain.
It was a bit weak but you expressed some deep emotions here but they were all over the place like most phone conversations can be.
As a stress release piece where you just get things off your chest then you did your job. ^_^
