Rearranged

Rearranged

A Poem by Barbara Walker
"

Not talking about furniture here...

"
I am in a stew,
all because of you...
suddenly, you've changed,
totally rearranged...
what is going on in your mind,
I'm getting contradictory signs.
This is all coming out of the blue,
no warning, not one little clue.
You've pulled the rug from under me, so fast:
I thought ours was a love that would last.

I am so angry, that you would throw us aside,
I feel I've been taken for a ride
and no matter what you do,
I can never feel the same for you,
so now, we are changed,
rearranged...and what makes me cry?
You don't even know why.

brutally honest feelings here and ones i can relate too. i do hope that you've been able to rearrange your life, in bits and pieces, to come to a level of comfort, it takes so long and so much effort to do so. so go ahead and have a good cry and then make the days count. you've got this !

honest and emotive approach .. no denying .. makes me think of my sister and her slug of a husband that came home "out of the blue" after 10 yrs and said .. "I don't love you any more" .. still boils in my veins .. what a s**t for brains .. shacked up with his younger trollop who kicked him out after only months .. took my sister years to recover .. rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
very straight forward poem .. no enigma .. no metaphor .. ;)

You're right about that! Thanks Craig!
This is so sad, B. When your whole world just seems to crash. There is so much emotion in this one, it's really sad. Just about made me cry

Oh that's the pits when it happens as such, having your entire world shattered unsuspectingly in that manner is quite the upheaval....well said, I like the furniture analogy.
