Moonrise

Moonrise

A Poem by James Paulin

powder to dodger to royal on high

Venus appears in procession

embracing evening with aesthetic eye

seizing the view in possession

gentle has settled windy lake surges

dusk fades brilliance of Autumn day

harvest Luna, all aglow, emerges

corn silk reflection floats display

A pleasure to read, and that last line is a piece of art in imagery.

An evening of night sky display beautifully written here...isn't it wondrous? I never tire of the night and all it offers on high...

Cheers,

Helen :-)

I feel the pull of our Autumn full moon tonight. I will look up at our dear moon and think of your poem and how perfectly it conveys its beauty.

Beautiful poem, my friend.
