My Life's Over

My Life's Over

A Poem by Bone Palace Ballet
"

New-ish. Better.

"

MY LIFES OVER

I
don’t think you feel
what I feel
don’t think you see
what I see
there’s only one way that you and I
could ever be

I love you more
than you know
I love you more
than I show
baby you
and me
could last an eternity

I tell you everyday,
how much I feel,
how much I care
and every time
it turns to that goodbye kiss,
or a goodbye stare,
I need to know
do you love me or not?
I need to know
should this all just be dropped?

I want to know
I need to know
I have to know
how you feel
Before the flesh
before the skin
on my face
comes unpeeled

I live for you
I’d die for you
I’d bleed for you
I’d cry for you

I need to know if you care
I need to know
if my heat will be tarred.

I told you again
how much I feel how much I care
and once again
it turned to that goodbye kiss
and a goodbye stare

I can see now,
that its over
I can now feel
my life’s over

What’s in this world?
What’s left for me?
Is there still some hope?
That I cannot see?

Because I love you
cause I need you
and my poor heart
has been ripped in two

I can see now,
I can feel now
I hear now

my life’s over..
