Irreplaceable

Irreplaceable

A Poem by Chaos
"

For a game.

"

The steady slipping of an era back into the sea

Vulture clouds silently watch the destruction

The endless pickets lead to an unknown place

Many have crossed this plain for induction

Living shadows without hesitation transformed

Nomadic lives have sadly become insensible

Once together are now broken, aged and forgotten

Blanketed by time, but irreplaceable

I like this write a lot. I kind of read between the lines as well and came up with
my version of what it was about, others might think otherwise.

Anyway it was a good poem. Well done.

This is inspire very deep and deserves a few reads to get all of it

"The endless pickets lead to an unknown place
Many have crossed this plain for induction"

Love this pair
and

"Once together are now broken, aged and forgotten
Blanketed by time, but irreplaceable"

Maybe but change happens, your name should tell you that ;- )
I suppose what I'm saying is the past is the past and the future is what we build

"Living shadows without hesitation transformed
Nomadic lives have sadly become insensible"

maybe on a practical level , the 9-5 , the mortgage, the bill, the telephone and the internet
but I'm not so sure about inside.

and finally
"The steady slipping of an era back into the sea
Vulture clouds silently watch the destruction"

Vultures do what vultures do, saves the world being covered in rotting carcasses

sorry not much of a review, These are my thoughts !
I liked the metre style and length , the point was made but not overworked

Hail Chaos !
;-)
