Castle on the Hill

Written in 1995

 

The castle on the hill

covering blood with pride

Hawks circling above

crystal blue sculptured skies

 

The chargers are approaching

See there in the distance?

Sound the alarm for battle

Swords raised to fight with persistence

 

When the dark souls night

cascades over the castle

the moon shimmering gem stones

over mountains of pearls

 

 

Proud castle on the hill

lonely once again

old castle on the hill

spirits wafting in the wind

 

Wise castle on the hill

The horror you must have seen

The Castle on the hill

Your future is unforeseen.
