Butterfly Effect

Butterfly Effect

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

Rorshach blew his nose and
the butterfly appeared
before his eyes

of course, snot fails to be a
medium in which to play
psychological divination

so you milk the mollusk herd
in the ocean of the absurd
to deliver the magic word
to this wrecked shitbird

and his hard-earned money
goes toward chasing the bunny
and it's all some kind of funny

chasing the lagomorph into a
subterranean substrate so
submerged that drug addicts
find the legendary serpentine
basilisk thing that flies

and the butterflies populate the
bowels once the submerged substrate
has been subdued into submission

it's a puff of smoke singing
in three-part harmony

but that harmony resonates out of the void,
out of the bird is the word absurd itself

and the sophists that have seen the truth
come back humbled and shattered

and so shall the shitbird captured in the
toxic tularemia that is his own inner s**t

Rorshach blew his nose but this was
far from the expected outcome

yet the butterfly truly affected things today

for better or worse remains to be seen
