Challenger Deep

Challenger Deep

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

so I wrote a poem today,
and Dyson is suing me for
patent infringement

and even when Thomas Jefferson
smirks at you knowingly because
his metallic visage
has landed face up,
the infantile website AI
still tells you that your
work is...

just watch Key and Peele
to see my point...

at least those chefs
know where their knives are...

even the Challenger Deep
has better poetry following out of it

or is that Earth's crust?
or is Earth's crust subducting into it?

my Shark is a descendant
of Edgar Cayce's toaster and
the illicit affair it had with a
Shop-Vac and even it's telling
me that my lungs and brain
can make the family room
carpet into an Outkast song

look at that prose riding
the line between strength
and weakness, a masterpiece
of s**t called mediocrity
if I've ever seen one

maybe I should drive
to Corpus Christi next week
