A Hope To Pass On

A Hope To Pass On

A Poem by Kenneth The Poet

We live in an ordinary life,

we should make each day come alive.

Life is our diary of everyday,

and with the ink of our hearts,

we pour content each day.

We can making everything work

if we believe in ourselves

and treat others fairly well

as we should treat everyday

throughout our lives.

We are the stone masons
of our own destinies,
carving out presents
and future for ourselves,
our contemporaries and
our descendants.

Let's hope,
truly hope,
that the correct
knowledge is passed on
and is correctly
applied forthwith.

Simple language and a simple message are married beautifully. Just goes to show you don't need to be eloquent to write profound poems.

I love the message here. And the images of the stone masons rings clearly with me as my brother is a stone mason. A truly hopeful work. Well done! An excellent collaboration Brenda and Kenneth. :) I hope to read more of both of your writing.
