Small.

Small.

A Poem by Shae Elena-Louise
"

A thought kept and a letter sent.

"
These fields don't mean much to me,
but to him they mean the world.
I don't know these people, buildings, or these trees,
but he remembers exactly how her hair curled.

I saw her just the other day,
but I had no idea she meant a thing to you.
So there wasn't a thing I had to say,
and I don't think even she had a clue.

Author's Note

Shae Elena-Louise
A little thingy that I wrote while I was trying to stay away from awkward encounters with my family. Nothing special. Poetry has never really been something I'm very good with in terms of rhythm so criticism is very, very welcome :)

Enjoyed this perspective. What means so much to someone is not even known or seen by another. Good stuff.
