Preghieri

Preghieri

A Poem by Scott Troy

Bereft
I believe
In the deepest of extremity
Loss
Regret
Acceptance
I fnd myself tied in knots
Frustrated and at a loss
What you have given me
Along with that you've taken away
I bare no I'll will
I'll press on
An immaculate grey
I do not blame
I look forward
My hope
That we both find what we are looking for
My regret it wasnt each other
I pray still for your happiness
I hope we both find the light we both crave
Shattered hearts and endless highways
Our GPS set to different courses
Gorgeous you are glorious
Forever a filament
In the flash that is my heart

A great poetic philosophical prayer approach to breaking up - very creatively penned! Note: in line eleven (typo) - should it read; 'I bare no ill will' … :-)
