GreyA Poem by A.A.RomanczukInspired by someone very dear when I was in a really bad state..
The Sky shows its startling grey hues
Much as the swirls of agate stones And will not speak of dazzling sun nor demure moon Nay, She hides Her face 'neath a veil How jealously She guards both the rosy blossom Upon her cheek and the blue tones of Her soul Today, I must embroider suns of my own upon that veil Clad in grey, She gives me reasons to excersise creativity And climb the cliffs of my mind And I am lost in some dream state of my own Serenaded by the sweetness of your tones Kindling fires in a tested heart And causing the poetry to overflow I grasp my purpose once again Because of the undeniable Truths you spoke And wonder at myself that I saw them not When I might have been depressed to gaze upon these greys I am all song and smiles © 2010 A.A.RomanczukFeatured Review
